The story of Sitr began in the heart of the community, where the need
for authentic, high-quality modest wear was palpable. We saw women
struggling to find athletic wear that didn't cling, or elegant abayas
that weren't sheer. This gap in the market was our calling.

We embarked on a rigorous research and development phase, sourcing
fabrics that utilize cutting-edge technology to offer features like
waterproofing and breathability without compromising on opacity. Our
story is one of perseverance and passion, driven by the desire to
serve the Ummah and provide options that make practicing one's faith
easier and more beautiful.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Allah is characterized by modesty
and concealment, and He loves modesty and concealment."

This prophetic description of Allah as "Sittir" (The Concealer) is the
cornerstone of our brand name.

remember the sleepless nights spent sketching designs that provide
freedom of movement while maintaining the strictest standards of Haya.
Every obstacle we faced only strengthened our resolve to provide a
solution for women who refused to settle for less than what their
faith requires.
